What Information do we gather

When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address, email address, and order history. We also use web beacons, cookies, and/or other tools that collect information to make it easier to use our site and store.

When you browse our store, we also automatically collect some information which may include the Operating System (OS) running on your device and your computer’s/device’s internet protocol (IP) address. Such information helps us learn about your browser type, geolocation, access time, and language as well as the website you visited before our site. We also collect information about how you use our site, including the elements you have interacted with, metadata, and other details about these elements, change states, and other user actions.

Email marketing (if applicable): By providing us with your email address, you are giving us permission to send you emails about our store, new products, and other updates.

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

What do we do with the information we gather.

The information we gather is used primarily to provide, maintain, protect and improve our current site and products and to develop new products. Personal information gathered through our site is also used for the following: a.) to enable the creation and securing of your account on our network; b.) to identify you as a user in our system; c.) to improve our product offerings, store and how we operate our business in general; d.) to understand and enhance your experience while you are engaged in our store and with our products; e.) to make sure we are providing and delivering the products and services that you are requesting; f.) to enable our support team to best respond to your comments, questions and or requests; g.) to send you related information including confirmations, invoices, technical notices, updates, security alerts and support and administrative messages; h.) to communicate with you about promotions, upcoming events and news related to products and services offered by PB Penguin; i.) to link or combine your information with other information we get from third parties to help us understand your needs and provide you with better service; j.) and to help us protect, deter and investigate against fraudulent, unauthorized or illegal activity.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profiles. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Changes to this Privacy Police

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it. If our store is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell products to you.

How we protect your data

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed. If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with AES-256 encryption. What third parties we receive data from

Our store is hosted by Xneelo. They provide us with an online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. We store your data on a secure server behind a firewall with updated security and encrypt your connection via SSL.
